Igniting the torch of unity, diversity, and freedom🔥
Our differences are our strength.
Our cultures depict the beauty of humanity. ✊🏽
And "Slave, Refugee, or Immigrant" are ALL different forms of immigration.

One by force, one escaping duress, one voluntary.
All immigrants.

The US population comprises Native Americans and Immigrants.

Yeah, it's crazy.

And the only abstainers who could have changed the 2024 election results would live in a state that voted for Trump by a small enough margin that that state's abstainers could overtake it.

And even within that, gerrymandered district maps could *still* "block" a state's pop vote.
December 5, 2025 at 9:20 PM
If 10% of the 93mil non-voters didn't vote primarily because their non-swing state would (almost certainly) match their vote, that accounts for 9.3 million "missing" votes.

That's enough voters to have given Kamala *up to* a 5mil popular vote lead (matching Barack's 2016 reelection pop vote marg).
December 5, 2025 at 5:36 AM
Agreed on both counts, but as ~80% of the US lives outside of swing states, it likely accounts for a noteworthy portion of them.

Ya gotta keep in mind the Electoral College's impact on voter turnout

There are loads of Blue Voters who live in Hard Blue states and Red Voters who live in Hard Red states where the Electoral College effectively votes on their behalf 99% of the time.

It's a poor reason to not vote, but it's real.

This German Survey titled "Greatest *Threats* to World Peace"

So 41% of Germans think he's the greatest threat to world peace? That sounds low, if anything.

Vaccine deniers in gov't who consistently ignore the results of MASSIVE studies showing that vaccines are safe, effective, and prevent millions of easily avoidable deaths every year.

Truly this is the most embarrassing timeline.

Study of 1.2 Million Children Finds No Risk From Common Vaccine Additive
A massive, 24-year-long study of more than 1.2 million children provides reassurance to parents around the world.

An anti-immigration speech during a holiday that specifically celebrates a warm welcome offered to illegal immigrants...

I can't with these European Americans...🤦🏽‍♂️

A business can also maintain the same-ish level of revenue (at least per transaction).

That goal offsets the business' increased costs without overburdening their customers.
November 20, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Did you miss the "yet many owners still expect higher revenue and plan to expand in the year ahead," part?

If increased prices are also expected to increase annual revenue - the amount that they are raising prices significantly EXCEED the increased costs.

Casual reminder that the phrase "Pulling yourself up from your bootstraps" originated to describe an idea that is utterly preposterous and clearly impossible.

The devolution of the phrase was designed to give people a false sense of hope - "a wild goose chase" of hard work, if you will.

Additionally, 2 sm. pizzas of 10" and 6" diameter create a total surface area of ~106.7 sq. in.

That's ~equivalent to 1 Medium 12" pizza

So 1 homemade 12" med. pizza costs ~$4.20 (🌿)

Exceeding my $1-$3 range
But still makes 3 pizzas (2 medium + 1 small) for the price of 1 storebought ~$10 pizza.

Me too...

I wonder if they could calculate % of similarity to the original post?

But then that makes shorter posts barely editable.

A 5% similarity req:
• Permits 2.5 characters (chars) on a 50 character post
• Permits 15 chars on a 300 char post.

So yes, I absolutely do know what I'm talking about.

I've done the math on multiple occasions, adjusting as food costs have risen.

My dough fits into a 10" and a 6" cast iron pan, and my recipe is extremely consistent.

There's a reason I do this. It's cheap and an incredible father-son bonding.

Cheese varies based on how cheesy you want your pizza.

5 lb is ~$17
1/4 lb of cheese is a *heavy* amount of cheese on 10", yet still makes 20 pizzas

$0.85/pizza for *heavy* cheese
$0.42/pizza for light cheese

So $0.50 for dough, $1 for sauce, $0.60 for cheese - that's $2.10/pizza
November 10, 2025 at 5:06 AM
Sauce varies based on how saucy you want your pizza

90-112oz canned tomatoes is ~$10-$12
That makes ~12-15 pizzas, so ~$0.70-$0.90/pizza

Then just 11.3g of Salt, 45g of sugar, 7.5g oregano.

That makes sauce ~$1/pizza, varying on pizza sauciness.
November 10, 2025 at 4:59 AM
Yeast:
113g is $7.5
1.5g makes both, so 113g makes 150 pizzas.
$7.5/150 = $0.05/pizza

Water:
Prices vary (tap, bottled, etc)
194g makes both, which is < 50% of a 16.9oz bottle.
So I'll estimate $0.17/pizza if bottled

$0.24 + $0.01 + $0.004 + $0.05 + $0.17 = ~$0.50 per pizza for the dough
