I was absolutely disappointed with WICKED: FOR GOOD. The first installment was 1 of the best films of last year. The songs kind of stink in part 2, the cinematography is ugly as hell (if u can see anything), & deaged Jeff Goldblum looks scary as hell. The pacing is also terrible compared to the 1st.

Warning to anybody: don't ever EVER eat fermented shark. I tried a tiny piece. The smell is so fucking bad & I can't even describe the taste. It's 1am & I could still smell & taste it.

How often do u guys clean ur sheets? I clean mine once a week. I asked my fiancee when she last cleaned her sheets & she replied, "I think the last time u were here." That was weeks & weeks ago. They don't smell at all or anything. I think I'm too much of a clean freak.

Watched NE ZHA 2 earlier tonight. I absolutely embarrassed myself after 1 super emotional scene bec I was crying like crazy. Like the ending of COCO crazy. The film is a fucking blast. 2.5 hrs & it just flies by. 9.25/10.

A COMPLETE UNKNOWN: A superb Timothee Chalamet performance in a very well made if conventional biopic. IMO Monica Barbaro steals the show in this one. 8/10.
FLIGHT RISK: Meh. Wahlberg is kinda bad in this? Terrible script but Mel Gibson still gives his best direction given what he's got. 5/10.

If not for the epilogue, THE BRUTALIST would've been my #1 film of 2024 by a landslide but oh well.

Got the SE7EN 4K Blu. Watched it tonight. Beautiful transfer. Film still a classic. IDK what it says about films today but it would be nominated for best picture if released today.

Haven't posted here in a while. Still in LA in a nice hotel. Lost numerous clients because I had to cancel meetings bec there's a fever going around LA & I got it for some reason. My fiancee was so freaked out I didn't call her for one day. Also have the worst nerve pain in my right shoulder.

After my really emotional day yesterday, goddamn did that Dick Van Dyke Coldplay music vid make me sob terribly this morning. It reminded me of my dad. We didn't have a good relationship but it made me miss him.
