Seeing a lot of takes on DK Bananza's music theme being "anime opening coded"- I can see that, but def got a way heavier Disney/Pixar vibe. Like the tune just sounds like a song from Frozen or something.
The whole thing is starting to give me Wreck-It Ralph vibes in general lol. Anyone else?

Love these guys from DR Ch.3. They play the sax, make sax noises when you talk to 'em, and even have shadow in their name- they were made for me! Though I wouldn't look near as dapper in a pinstripe suit and fedora.

Don't have a Switch 2 yet, but the Jazz/Big Band/Ska remixes of old Mario tunes in MK World friggin' SLAP. Holy cow was I not ready for how hard that soundtrack goes.

Weirdly, think I may have just lost interest in Crossworlds though. Makes sense to have all the cameos with a name like "Cross Worlds" but... eh. I think I'd rather it have been Sonic characters only.

Wild to me that MKII has like 1K more views than Metal- I don't know if that's cause there's more MKII fans than I realized or what. But Mecha MKI is also out-pacing Metal in views/listens.

Ristar turned 30 yesterday?! Yeesh. I remember buying it from the store as a kid. Love it to pieces, such charm and great music.
Would love to see Sega take a crack at a sequel, a la Sonic Mania style.

So I keep seeing people talking about "Carrier Zone" being brought back for #SonicRacingCrossWorlds but like... that musical sting is Metal Harbor my dudes. And some of the track assets and textures look it too. Maybe Carrier Zone is now mashed up with Metal Harbor/Weapons Bed from SA2?
