unfortunately many people care only about the optics and fun parts of having friends and community but don’t want to put in the work to maintain them, including investing emotional energy into caring about others on a deeper level beyond surface level conversations. not all people, but a lot.

2. on dec 5 we got an update about gladio's situation, as well as bluesky ignoring ashley's emails about the suspension, so she ended up making an alt (scarletwitches which is now suspended) to give more updates about him (he's still in the US, in a prison)
UPDATE:
Ashley has let me know that Gladio has been in contact with 2 immigration attorneys that are helping him. He has finally been given his seizure medication per lawyer request. Ashley attempted to appeal her suspension, but was denied. Bluesky is now completely ignoring her messages and emails
