Ropeway pov. Darjeeling.
This picture is taken from a ropeway. The ropeway goes along above forests and tea gardens. This picture shows gentle slopes with tea plantations, two local women plucking tea leaves as seen in the middle, and a narrow, curved pathway winding through the plantation that enters the frame from the bottom left and exits at the upper middle.

The Himalayas, Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. Every time I visit a place like this it makes me want to set foot on top of every peak. I wonder if anyone gets this feeling.

Reckong Peo, Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh. Here is a mountain river flowing rapidly, with clear green water, surrounded by bare rocky mountains on one side and thick wooded mountains on the other side. Some of the peaks are snow capped. There are tents along the river and visitors can spend the night in one of them.
