How can one believe in god when there has not been a lightening strike on his head yet?

Yes. But when are the rest of the Epstein files going to be released and when are you, Trump, going to testify under oath to congress?

You need to read your constitution. I know it better than you and I'm not American.

Difficile de l'affirmer totalement pour Musk mais pour Trump les témoignages recueillis par le FBI dans ses propres établissements laissent peu de doute... bsky.app/profile/meid...
The new Epstein files production features numerous allegations made against Donald Trump and others.

What's the thing that's supposed to be interesting that's happening in the TSA?

Really bored of Trump. First sentence makes me go to sleep.

We threw away our cell phone business to Qualcomm in the name of a free market with the US that didn't exist. Coming home to roost now. Hopefully our kids will be a lot smarter.

The major capital spend in the 90s was fiber that got used in the end (even if some of the companies that laid it went bust). Not so optimistic this time particularly as it's not totally clear that the current tech is really correct for the task.

We would probably get on. I'm at the end of career doing what he's starting. :)

Well I live in Europe where gm was greatly resisted. The problem for me with gm is to find the real benefits requires time and slow does not equal profitable.

Kind of the opposite of the 90s where the bet was much more spread. Seems super dangerous.

My incomprehension comes from the fact that most of the money invested currently is in hardware for datacenters. But the chips used are likely to go out of date pretty fast, in terms of ops ex (energy) to compute. So it seems the investment will deprecate fast.

Good luck to him.

Personally I'm interested in it for other applications where it is super useful and provides huge human benefit. Can't really say what since it would identify me.

On the nefarious purposes I would agree if that is chatbots. On image classification it has been applied to conservation but also surveillance. In the latter case sometimes badly. Pretty much anything can be abused.

If you took it as an insult it was not at all meant as one.
January 22, 2026 at 6:04 PM
I wasn't assuming that of you. I was stating that it is not the case. I have no idea what your age is and I promise you there are loads of aged people who have no clue what ai is.

33% yoy growth in 2025 in the EU. They went down slightly in 24 due to end of subsidies in Germany and cancelled purchases of Teslas. Must be tough living in Newcastle with your head down a toilet.
January 22, 2026 at 9:33 AM
That is also wrong. The application of ai in various fields is very defined and valuable. AI is not just chatbots.
January 22, 2026 at 9:22 AM
You're wrong if he learns the maths behind AI. That will very much stay in date and may allow him to find the good paths for improving the technology. If he just learns how to use the current tools you are right.

What has Macron got to do with that?
January 22, 2026 at 6:12 AM
Listen to Mark Carney. His speech was a great summary of why US hegemony is over for him and the EU.
January 22, 2026 at 6:09 AM
If you listen to some of the discussions in davos on you tube you will find that the EU heads of state have the same view.

Percentages of fully vaccinated people. We vaccinate for less diseases but we actually do it. The usa tries to vaccinate for more diseases but fails cos they have too many idiots.
