Hello! Cloud spilling in on Saturday pm with scattered strands of rain, perhaps heavy in places moving across the area. Still some bright spells around too. Mist and fog forming overnight. Today’s max temp 9C. Tonight’s min 2C.

Good morning all. After a dry and bright start Friday will slowly deteriorate. I expect some sporadic bursts of mostly light rain to move onto the region pm. This will be slow moving. Top temp 10C. Wind S/SE freshening.

Evening all across the South of England. Rain has arrived and will continue on and off overnight. Some of the precipitation will be moderate to heavy in nature. I think the heaviest is most likely towards Dorchester, Poole, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Wilton and possibly parts of the New Forest. Mild.

A very changeable period is expected through to the weekend and beyond for this patch. Putting it in simple terms, this means further wet and often windy conditions. However, it won’t be wet all the time because some drier and brighter spells between the rain.

Good afternoon folks. Here’s Thursday afternoon’s latest weather news. Firstly a rain alert for the Weymouth and Dorchester, Bournemouth areas in particular. Heavy rain is possible within the next 24 hours or so. A period of persistent rain will move east across the whole region tonight.
