"Shapes of Life" reveals the stunning diversity of protein shapes and sizes! Proteins grow from violet to red in size—starting with tiny epidermal growth factor (1EGF, 53 amino acids) and ending with the massive vault protein (2QZV, 71,904 amino acids).
