Let's go and see where this takes us!
25.09.1936
Spartak Moscow 0:1 Dinamo Tbilisi
Berdzenishvili 33'
The second league season of 1936 was interrupted early by the arrival of a Turkish team, which played several (very well-attended) matches with various Soviet clubs.
Spartak finally got around to the league three weeks later.

05.09.1936
Spartak Moscow 3:1 Lokomotiv Moscow
Stepanov 12', Glazkov 40', 65' (pen.) - Lavrov 20'
It was before this game (held on the Dinamo stadium, as Spartak did not have their own stadium) that Lokomotiv received their Soviet Cup trophy.
Which must have made the loss feel even sadder.

28.08.1936
Soviet Cup final
Lokomotiv Moscow 2:0 Dinamo Tbilisi
Sokolov 18', Lavrov 24'
The long-anticipated final of the 1936 Soviet Cup.
Lokomotiv scored two early goals and the other team couldn't manage to do anything in return.
After this match, Lokomotiv proceeded to the final... ?!

Soviet Cup 1/2 final
Lokomotiv Moscow 5:0 Krasnaya Zarya Leningrad
Lavrov 20', 49' (pen.), 89', Sokolov 52', Semyonov 71'
This was the only meeting of top-tier teams in the entire cup!
The other 5 either ignored their first-round matchups, or got knocked out by lower-tier clubs.

14.08.1936
Soviet Cup 1/4 final
Lokomotiv Moscow 2:1 Serp i Molot Kharkov
Lavrov? early 2nd half, Serdyukov?? 79' - Morgunov 38'
A hard-fought game, with numerous unrealized chances on both sides - most notably a 78th minute free kick (against Lokomotiv) that was almost declared a penalty.

Soviet Cup 1/8 final
Serp i Molot Kharkov 3:1 Elektromashzavod Kharkov
Morgunov 38', Prasolov 42', 85' - Naprasnikov 44'
Putting an end to KhEMZ's cup run. They never made it anywhere *close* to that high in the cup again.
(Admittedly they also didn't last very long after this.)

28.07.1936
Soviet Cup 1/16 final
Stakhanovets Kadievka 0:2 Elektromashzavod Kharkov
[no goalscorer data, sorry]
Thousands of spectators showed up in Kadievka on July 28th to witness the belated clash against Dinamo Moscow.
And then they found a bunch of factory workers from Kharkov instead.

24.07.1936
Soviet Cup 1/32 final
Stakhanovets Kadievka vs. Dinamo Moscow
not played, Stakhanovets awarded walkover
Wait what?!
Apparently the Moscow team *started* the long journey to Kadievka (Ukrainian SSR) - but then were sent back to Moscow, to start training for a Czechoslovakian tour.

17.07.1936
Dinamo Moscow 6:2 CDKA Moscow
Smirnov 47', Ilyin 53', Pavlov 66', Semichastnyy 79', 89', 90' - Petrov 10', Mironov 26'
For what should have been an unexciting finish to an already-decided championship, this was quite an exciting game - Dinamo trailed 0:2 at halftime, but won 6:2.

11.07.1936
Dinamo Moscow 1:0 Spartak Moscow
Pavlov 86'
This is the *actual* game that decided this championship.
At league break, Dinamo had 12 points and Spartak was in second place with 10; there were 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw, and 1 for a loss (the 0 was left for not showing up).

Dinamo Moscow 5:1 Krasnaya Zarya Leningrad
Ilyin 30', Semichastnyy 36', Yakushin 50', Smirnov 60', Pavlov 84' - Artemyev 65'
This was actually a 5th round game; the schedule of a round-robin league with 7 clubs required each club to sit out a round, and Dinamo Moscow skipped 4th.

Smirnov 8' (pen.), 18', Andreev 40' (o.g.) - Terenkov 30'
This was only the second goal conceded by Dinamo Moscow this season.
This match also had only the second own goal in the entire tournament (so far) - and the second penalty goal, as well.

31.05.1936
Dinamo Moscow 2:0 Dinamo Leningrad
Ilyin 17', Semichastnyy 80'
This game, between the two preseason favorites, was considered at the time to be the deciding game of the season.
That was, in retrospect, somewhat premature; the title race was still quite active three rounds later.
