the radiator fins are intentionally very thin to better disperse heat. for that exact reason I'd recommend avoiding touching the radiators on any pc part if you can avoid it.
also, pc parts aren't unbreakable, but they aren't made of glass, so its ok to add a small amount of pressure. good luck
