A US jury finds Meta violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act when it intentionally recorded the health data of women via the period tracking app Flo (Margaret Attridge/Courthouse News Service)

My FYP is video after video of pre-med students explaining how the big bill’s student loan cap will make it impossible for them to afford med school. Experts were already predicting a doctor shortage to the tune of 86k by 2036. This will make it exponentially worst. www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8hFxfBL/
The government just ended my ability to even apply to medical school, it’s no longer an option because private student loans would lead to absolute financial ruin. All of my work for the past 5-8 year...

As we kept warning, Republicans are willing to kill their own base to line up their pockets and please the billionaires.

And, voila, the tragedy in Texas that sadly will become more common with natural disasters and defunded infrastructures and organizations designed to help people.

Organize.

Mobilize.

Resist.

This bill is an act of war by the billionaires and their white nationalist allies against the people of the United States.

It will take health care from millions of people to fund tax cut for billionaires, secret police to arrest the President’s critics, and concentration camps.

It’s fascism.

It's a fascist regime, folks. You have to start treating it like such. You need all hands on deck and a remarkable change in attitude, language and tactics to confront Trump and MAGA.

The old guard ain't gonna cut it.

17 million people’s health insurance is not waste.

If you’re looking for frauds, look at all the Republicans who promised not to cut Medicaid but did it anyways.

An obscene $170 billion is going towards the Trump regime’s deportation efforts in the “Big Beautiful Bill”, including $45 billion for detention centers and $27 billion for more ICE agents and operations. The ICE concentration camps alone will have more money than the entire federal prison system.
These fascists are taking billions of our taxpayer dollars and using them to drastically expand the Gestapo and build concentration camps, all to bring about a white Christian nationalist state they’ve dreamed of recreating since losing the Civil War.

Not only does this bill strip healthcare from millions of people, steal our money for billionaires, and explode the deficit by trillions.

It also gives $170 billion to the regime’s deportation efforts.

More ICE. More kidnappings. More concentration camps.

Their evil has no limits—this is fascism.

Well, seems like it's over. Trump will get his almost $200 billion more for immigration agents, weapons, surveillance tools, and huge detention expansion. This will entail at minimum another roughly 19,000 immigration agents across ICE and CBP, that will probably be shotgun-hired at lower standards
The Worst Part of Trump’s Big Bill Is Getting Almost No Attention
The Republican budget bill is stuffed with terrible policies, but Democrats have been largely silent on perhaps its most destructive component.

All of what you've seen so far — the detention of activists, the masked agents in cars with no plates, the raids with in full combat gear, the detention camps — has been a prelude. We'll see it all kick into overdrive. There will be multiple more teams of masked, inexperienced agents in every city

The GOP Budget Bill is a tragedy for the American people and a complete moral failure.

Donald Trump and his MAGA enablers are ripping care from cancer patients, meals from children, and money from working families — just to give tax breaks to the ultra-rich.

The bill adds 3-4 trillion dollars to the deficit.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

“Congress” didn’t pass this murder budget.

Republicans did it.

Republicans did it without a single Democratic vote in the House, without a single Democratic vote in the Senate.

One thing that's clear is that these kidnappings will continue so long as there's no organized resistance to them. That resistance could be nonviolent or armed, coordinated by state and local governments or by groups of residents.

Bottom line is that someone has to get between immigrants and ICE.
Waiting at the pharmacy and the news is on. Horrific ICE raid of a family. Full military gear with weapons out. They banged down the door, broke windows, trashed the house and took women and children. Shameful. Fascist.
