Our summer/fall hours start today (July 1st). We're now open 1st & 3rd Fridays and Saturdays of the month 9AM-4PM, and closed the other weekends of the month, through October. We're open all holidays that fall on the 1st and 3rd Fridays and Saturdays.
Some of our favorite "flowers" are blooming right now. These are called frost flowers - ice ribbons created as water freezes and breaks out of the stems of these plants. Dittany (Cunila origanoides) is popular for creating these beauties and that's the plant we find them on this morning.

We're closed this weekend. Visit us next weekend, Oct 17 & 18, for our final open weekend of the season!

We've been seeing so many baby monarch and swallowtail caterpillars on our milkweed (Asclepias spp.) and Alexander's (Zizia spp.)!!!! 💜🐛
This also means that the plants you take home this fall will look pretty rough as the little munchers defoliate them. But that's why we grow them!
