Nvidia has a reputation for not playing nicely with Linux. Searching for "best linux distros for nvidia graphics cards" comes up with a list of distros that are recommended. Sounds like a possible hardware (nvidia) distro issue?

There was a post about an hour ago on how to delete erased files from your machine. If one followed the instructions, they would have deleted program files and damage the OS, not what the poster claimed. I reported it and it disappeared. Don't simply type commands that someone posts. Verify first.

A WORD OF WARNING!! About an hour ago there was a posting to this feed about the location of the files that you have deleted, but still reside on your machine, and a supposed command to actually remove those files from your machine, before they time out and actualy disappear.

I wonder what the results are if one asks each AI program for instructions on how to disable it / turn it off?

"I'm sorry Dave. I can't do that."?

Anyone have knowledgable recommendations on full screen casting from either Manjaro XFCE or Silverblue Gnome desktop, or something similar, to a Roku TV? It is so easy doing it from Windows 11 that I don't need to do it from Linux.

I wonder if a "Photography of Pretty Ladies" might be an appropriate special interest category rather than Photography? While I find the pretty lady photos to be attractive, I am more interested in a wider variety of 'architectures' and 'scenic views'.

I was riding the bus home this afternoon. A lady grabs the seat behind me, apologizes and starts saying something. I was thinking 'oh boy, what is the pitch?' She asked if she could take a picture of a button on my hat - her boyfriend was a Linux user.

Looked at someone's android phone today. The screen icons and labels were almost microscopic but the settings were at maximum size. Any ideas on a fix? Change launchers or???

T'is amazing how many things go wrong or don't work with Linux. And even more amazing how it is never operator error.

Curious, I looked at the Windows feed. I think I counted 40 entries and not a single mention of Linux. I look at the Linux feed and the 4th entry was about Windows, with no mention of Linux. And many more Windows only complaints in the following postings. Do Windows posters have Linux envy?
