"Maning up" should be banned. Teenagers have nothing more than emotions to process. They are developing human emotions, and the way you treat them as if their frontal lobe is fully developed is bullshit. Teenagers don't need to "mature" or "man up." They need love, support, and fucking empathy guys.

I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 8. We didn’t have a coffee maker. Everyone else drank tea. I drank instant coffee & loved it. Drank it non-stop.
Years later, my mom had half a cup, got wired & was like “you’ve been doing this every day?!?”
Coffee was only for special occasions after that.
