The best social media at any given time is an early stage, buzzy app that hasn't scaled or monitized its users yet.

Meetup was great and now it's filled with ads, subscription pushes and features hidden behind pay walls.

Instagram was great before reels. Now it's a lot of brain rot

The idea that repeatedly prompting a chatbot until it makes something satisfactory is better than coding it yourself feels naive to me. Of course you should make use of ChatGPT, but don’t use it in the most inefficient way possible. ChatGPT is best used as a stackoverflow on steroids

AI, Space, Nuclear Energy, Bio tech. Is there any other future facing industry that will truly hit its stride decades from now? I can think of Quantum Computing, but that feels much further away to be practically useful.

The process of using ChatGPT to build a project is still too slow to be considered a real alternative to doing it yourself. There’s too much friction involved. When will we get to a point when we have our own Jarvis?
