#AGU25 this week has been a joyful and grim time. It's great to see colleagues and friends, and the meeting is always overwhelmingly productive. However, we continue to learn about the depths to which the current administration is attempting to dismantle science.

This storm is highlighting our lack of capability. Our two spacecraft capable of real-time solar wind monitoring are struggling. ACE's plasma detector is giving clearly WRONG data, while DSCOVR is known to give unreliable values.
