Can't believe that it's November 1st and I can't stay outside reading in the sun (and pairing wine with book) because it's too warm!
On a travertine table, a bottle of Nizza red wine (900 from Cascina Garittina), a small plate with slices of salsiccia di fegato, a cut crystal stem glass with said red wine, and the book being paired with it (Il Duca, by Matteo Melchiorre). The small plate has a Dubout drawing of a black cat seen from behind.

This morning, I was lucky enough to drink my tea in front of the sea, waiting for the sun to rise.
Calm beach befor dawn, with palm trees silhouetted in the middle and left. Over the horizon, a line of night clouds in a bruise palette, a fiery red announcing dawn within the hour.
