I used to have that issue when I had Nvidea, where linux wouldn't wake up properly and I had to hard reboot (possibly losing progress), but after switching to AMD hibernating works fine.

My linux issues are mostly monitor or mouse not working properly after logging in. but they are easily fixed.

I also think I removed all AI stuff from my Windows. like, no copilote, and I just use an older version of MS Office that doesn't come with the ai assistant.
But idk how long that will work.

I'm so glad I don't "need" Windows anymore.

I use it sometimes to compare some hardware (like headphones/mics) on linux and windows when I have issues.
Or when linux makes problems.
or when I need the assistance of some software that only runs on windows.
But mostly I'm fine without Windows.

I once heard the reason because they might never make half life 3 is simply because they have no ideas how to continue from that cliffhanger.
hl alyx was the closest to a hl3 we got.
