I mainly like to photograph things like nature, macros of mushrooms, plants and sometimes landscapes or whatever I come across that I find photogenic. :3

ok, this is such a weird way of showing the battery status xD
so if you press the battery status button, in the viewfinder the aperture needle will be somewhere between f/2.8 and f/5.6 (2.8 being full and 5.6 being empty)
But good to know. I def. didn't know that back in 2009.

good news
I got reminded of my dads old Canon AE-1 that I last used in 2009 until the film advance lever got stuck.
So I just decited to do a quick search on how to fix a AE-1 and the first result was exactly about my issue and it was super easy too.
So yea, now I have 2 working film SLRs :D

I'm thinking about getting a tele-zoom lens for my EOS 500N
I have kid zoom lenses, but only for EF-S mount, not EF
The Canon EF 75-300mm 4-5.6 III looks good and it doesn't break the bank. Though its not the sharpest from what I read, especially at 75mm. But stepping down might help?

I bought some regular good old Kodak Gold 200, but this time I try something more advanced and shoot it at ISO-400.
I read some about push/pull methods in film photography and I wanna try it. Kodak Gold has rather low contrast anyway I believe, so this could make it more interesting maybe.

honestly, I don't even edit my digital photos much in general anymore, because I wanna get better at composing my images and not fix my mistakes or whatever all the time.

the colors can get a bit wonky at times, when underexposing, but it has charm.

I think most of them turned out much nicer then last time, now that I figured out how to expose them correctly.

I'm looking into micro 4/3 cameras.
They got such good lens options and the more compact size is very intriguing
also I'm particularly curious about lens adapters. like speedboosters, tild-shift and vintage lens adapters. 👀

Here are some photos of tulip magnolia's around here.
and I tried some different color grading this time. At first I wanted to go with warm colors, but then I found this cool Fujifilm LUT that looked interesting.

The 135mm lens arrived today and I must say, first impression wasn't very good. At first I got scared I got the wrong lens-mount, but it does fit, it just looks weirdly small.
I'm a little scared it will scratch or damage my camera over time tbh

Why is it so hard to find modern ~200mm prime lenses?
Why is there a gap between 135 to 300mm when looking for prime lenses?
yes, there are zoom lenses that cover that focal range, but not prime. whyyy?
There are some vintage 200mm prime lenses, but they don't make modern ones for some reason.

They are tearing down an old house not too far from where I live. Thought it looks cool. I took lot of photos and some videos too.

I used Reto Amber T800 film I bought from Amazon and I really like the colors and how it adds this sorta orange glow around light sources.
