Vegetarian chili, along with another soup, was on the menu for some grown ass men. No one would pick the “vegetarian chili” but had no issues picking the “hearty tomato” soup. I’m not a #vegetarian but guys are so stupid weird about food.

I’m crabby. I like to try out new recipes but anything that requires searing is met with tremendous amounts of moisture. Recipes online don’t factor inherent moisture. Wtf! Vegetables, proteins, you all know shit about fuck. Why is there so much juice in my food? #cooking

My husband saw these outside of one of our local Asian grocery stores on 2/2. Our little city has a vibrant SE Asian population. They have been here for decades, legally. Needless to say, these went straight in the trash.

Some days I’m just amazed by how open, honest and frank my 12 y/o is with me. I told my parents NOTHING. I could not trust them to guide me. I always feared humiliation. Honestly and culpability are a two way street. I was worried about this stage, it’s not easy but not terrible. #parenting

Love to hear my hubs might not have a job next week due to all grant funding being pulled. His job deals with DEI initiatives to get low income and rural school kids into stem and the trades. We live in a predominantly wyt community so there you go.

I’m absolutely IN LOVE with my new living room set up. We were worried the blue would be too dark but the white credenza and cabinet brightens it up. There is still a ton of space we need to figure out and old furniture to repurpose or donate. #homeinterior

I grew up in a horribly abusive home in the 80’s and 90’s surrounded by more stable and affluent families. I’m always so grateful to the parents that let me play with their kids and welcomed me into their homes. There were a few who would barely let me in their yards. I remember ALL OF YOU.
