An additional photo of an important landmark. Here is the Dallas County Administration Building. A site infamously known for where U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was revealed to be "gay as fuck" for sleeping when first lady Jaqueline Kennedy’s phat ass was out like that.
The Dallas County Administration Building, formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository in Dealey Plaza, a park within Dallas, Texas. Building is infamously known as the place where U.S. President John F. Kennedy was shot from and ultimately assassinated in 1963.

Here’s a small dump of photos I took in Dallas during my Holiday break.
The "Spirit of Communication" statue (informally known as "Golden Boy") located in the AT&T district in Dallas, Texas. The statue portrays a golden angel raising his left fist, which is grasping three lightning rods. In the other hand, he carries a live cable which wraps around both his arm and torso. A light rail train at parked at North Carrollton/Frankford station displaying the text "Buckner" on its destination sign. A close up on the neon sign for the candy store "Dude, Sweet Chocolate" located in the Bishop Arts district in Dallas, Texas. A defunct building formerly owned by Paramount studios in Dallas' West End. While it is now multipurpose in its lease, the original logo of Paramount studios was never removed and remains on the building’s roof.

My first MFF had its ups and downs but there were so many moments where I could capture liminal spaces in the main hotel lobby. Here’s to next year I suppose.

Haven’t posted in a while so here’s a batch of breakout boards I’ve been working on from JLCPCB. The PQFPs are coming in later for me to solder but I want to finish them ASAP.

Bluesky needs more Nixie clocks!

Just finished a PCB layout for one of the boards of a project I’ve been working on this past month.

Going to run the whole thing on an ESP32-S3 chip to design it as an IoT-capable device with backlit LEDs (per usual) and USB PD support.

Now onto routing :3c
A 3D rendered PCB design for a nixie tube clock labeled ‘SMART NIXIE!’. The board is red and its tubes display the time "33:33:33". It features labeled sections for ‘HOURS’, ‘MINUTES’, and ‘SECONDS’. The PCB also has silkscreened warnings about high voltage and a gear icon for open-source hardware. A Soviet hammer and sickle symbol is included in the design. A 3D-rendered PCB design for a nixie tube clock, showing the backside of the red circuit board. In the center, there is a white silkscreen illustration of a jackal cub biting an arm, accompanied by the text: ‘Trans rights are human rights, keep fighting always and forever!’ This PCB is labeled as ‘Designed by: buppy :3’, referring to the author of this post, in its first revision and a creation date of February 2025.
