Since Mary is not too tall, she stood at the front so that she could see - I was right next to her, but I had a massive speaker in front of me, so I got BR-J's body and guitar but no head!

(The upside was that I could happily stand there without worrying about blocking anyone else's view.)

It's not an ideal space, true, but then again many actual venues aren't either! Seated things at Mono are always fine, but when it's standing and packed it can be hard to see much. I still enjoy being there every time though.
