Star Trek feels the same way tbh. Some very advanced tech, but sometimes you'll see a character using multiple "pads" like they're just paper instead of one that can do everything and hold more than just one document.

So beautiful. I was so excited the first time I saw one (or atleast recognised one, it was in my home town at the age of 30) they sound different to laughing Kookaburras. The one I saw was very chatty. It was a bit uncanny tbh, like so like something familiar but a bit different. Love them.
