anyway, they blocked our numbers so none of our calls are going through. the manager who got publicly fired in the gc is reporting the owner to the labour board and we’re doing a group filing for our pay. so heres hoping everything goes well

a few days after that last shift i worked, i was fully taken off the scheduling app, with no notice. so ig i was fired?? and not to mention we did NOT get paid for those last two weeks prior to all of this, even up to today

ig that was when he got fired?? i cant remember. then later on in the work gc (im not in it) the owner tells everyone that the other manager is fired and everyones like, ???? wtf?? then others ended up quitting bc what is this power tripping bs?

apparently the owner tried to sell one of his tables the same bottle of wine at different prices so he told him that he literally cant do that. the owner went off on him after that, saying irrelevent stuff like, you shouldnt be vaping in the store (he only does it when we’re closed) and shii

he hits me with, “oh its probably bc of the beef between the old management and new management” so im like, hUH?? and immediately message my manager once he leaves about whats going on. a little while later, he tells me that he got fired that last saturday

and i didnt think much of it at first. so while i was waiting for my shift to start, i noticed my shifts for the week were removed from the scheduling app. so im like…? the new manager (?) is helping me set up tables for the large parties of the night and i mention this to him

so everythings good in the two weeks i worked there. the people are cool. the 3rd week hits, and mind you i didnt work the last weekend cus i was out of town. the next day im in, no one who was scheduled before me was there and theres like, only two other ppl ive never seen, besides the chefs

so i got this new fine dining restaurant job through my sister’s old manager. the ceo of our resto and some sister locations are just these rich people who decided to open up restos just bc. they like, never actually worked in the industry
