Today we went to San Mamés stadium, wherr students had the opportunity to learn about the famous football team of Athletic Club Bilbao
And to finish the day we went to the park to play and spend some time outdoors before going to bed. Students enjoyed the time with the frisbees!

Today students went to the town of Guernica, which has a historical significance due to its bombing in 1937, in the middle of the Spanish Civil war.

And it was finally time to head back to get some rest. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunset to enjoy on our way back.

Today, students also attended a workshop on pelota vasca which consisted of watching a full game and then having a go themselves at playing. There were also prizes up for grabs!

Next thing on the plan was to visit el Palacio de la Diputación. Students had the opportunity to learn some history about the importance of the building in Biscay.

Students had a very filling breakfast today consisting of a hot drink + fresh orange juice + a freshly made sandwich /pastry. They have recharged their batteries for another very busy day ahead!

And we are finally in Bilbao! The flight journey went smoothly and we are now waiting for the coach to take us to the city center.
