Wanna hear a sad story? Mom & dad threw a big baby shower for my sister, then went on vacation, then it was T-giving. The only one who remembered my birthday was my Vet & sent a card saying “Happy Birthday-come in for shots and not the good drinky-drinky kind.”

I’m in NE, zone 6b. Just took this video for you. Ivy works well & softens edges (need to trim). I also have a cattail that’s been cut back for the season and if you plan on fish, I recommend planting something for shade if the pond is in the sun.

While not “grown”, my son’s gf created the most fabulous bday cake for me this year. She’s a master cake decorator and all these veggies were made by hand. It was a nod to my new gardening hobby and just thought I’d share here. 😊

Mom rushed me to the ER tonight where I proceeded to make her appear overly dramatic cause there’s nothing wrong with me & then mom paid the lady two hundred bucks and we drove home.
