I've always loved this photo, taken some years ago on the buffs at Torrey Pines overlooking the Pacific - the play of light and shadow on the water caused by gaps in the clouds overhead. The high perspective, near the Gliderport, gives a sense of the infinite.

I heard her, then had too look around to spot her in the top of a pond apple tree. This was from about 80 yards. Topaz was used to clarify. No color adjustments.
