Game-ifying gender. A great tool of conceptualising the limitations of gender. The existence trans ppl could free minds but shamefully for some devoted to the game use us as fuel for hate

Stop amendments to the Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Act | Megaphone Australia
On Thursday 16th October 2025 the Northern Territory Goverment under Lia Finnocchiaro is planning to change the Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Act, rolling back recently won protections for vulnerable community members. The vilification provision in the current NT Anti-Discrimination Act  has been called “one of the strongest pieces of vilification law that is currently in place” and “highly visionary” by the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner.  The Finnocchiaro government intends...

"Former One Nation member, Sarah Game has introduced a bill to change South Australia’s current abortion laws, to decide what healthcare is “acceptable” after 23 weeks of pregnancy."
Email South Australian Upper House Members | Stop the attack on South Australian Abortion laws
Update: Sarah Game moved the day for her bill to be debated to November 12. The bill removes the clause that allows doctors to consider the physical and mental health of their patient. Former One Nation member turned independent politician Sarah Game has introduced a bill to change South Australia’s current abortion laws and restrict the care doctors can provide their patients. She wants politicians — not a woman and her medical team — to decide what healthcare is “acceptable” after 23 weeks of pregnancy. A woman may need access to abortion care after 23 weeks for a range of complex, distressing and deeply personal reasons. She may have received a catastrophic diagnosis affecting her own health or the pregnancy. Or she may be in an abusive relationship, where an abuser has used pregnancy to trap her and obstructed her ability to access care earlier. Politicians have no place dictating what medical care a woman can receive in these circumstances. These decisions must be made by the patient, supported by her healthcare team. It is vital that we show Legislative Council members there is strong community support for the current laws. The current laws require the agreement of 2 doctors that there is a risk to the physical or mental health of a pregnant person or a fetal abnormality for a patient to access abortion care late in pregnancy. This is the second attempt in less than a year to restrict access to abortion care in South Australia. Last year Ben Hood's attempt to restrict access to abortion care was stopped by just one vote in the Legislative Council. We need to protect South Australia’s current laws. Please add your voice today to urge Legislative Council members to support our current laws and reject any attempt to restrict access to abortion care.

Abortion rights = contentious issue, but not often in OZ.
That's changed with a RWNJ movement in South Australia aiming to restrict late-term abortions.

South Australia is now the battleground for the forced-birth movement
Conservative forces both inside and outside state parliament want to make abortion a key issue in 2026.

For many trans young people, gender affirming care is life-changing, and often life-saving, healthcare.

But the Queensland government is blocking improvements and slashing funding from the Queensland Children's Gender Service (QCGS).
