I’m so sad. As a historian I know where this is going and it’s maddening to be told it’s not that bad. To watch my country dissolve into fascism. I’m so angry and frustrated that we have to go through this, and that this election was obviously compromised but it was allowed to continue.

Where is Michelle Obama? I am dying to know what these two are chatting about. Obama is always a charming class act, I am so curious what they say to each other. They keep talking while everyone else is quiet, what do you think they are talking about?

Getting ready to help my cousin birth a baby girl, and trying to stay positive but the world seems so heavy. But the circle of life continues despite the constant struggle. Ever notice how death and birth seem to coincide & joyous memories bring grief but excruciating pain brings unimaginable love?

This book about the female Jewish resistance fighters, witnessing and fighting against the Nazis, is inspiring and horrific. The decision of fight or flight, and the way they speak of Palestine and Zionism, I can only imagine they would be horrified to know what is taking place there. #booksky
