I bought this yarn because the colorway was called "Tokyo Tower", and did not think about how crocheting with boucle yarn might go. Ah well. It looks cool for a start, at least.

I have now made a pillow with my own handwoven cloth.

Sewing this was a learning experience I do not wish to repeat.

I need to actually swatch this, but I believe I've figured out "A Bumberet" with 2 heddles and a pick up stick on a RHL.
The draft in question is derived from Hargrove's "The Weavers Draft Book and Clothiers Assistant", published in 1792.

Warping the loom is always an adventure with my cat.

This is the draft I made and used for this pattern. It wasn't as apparent until I'd taken it off the loom and washed the project, but it looks very nice.
Yarn is Gist's Sero in Aloe and Glacier.

Recently off the loom. The cats are not very interested in it anymore lol.

Gotta finish twisting the fringe tonight or tomorrow...

New project.... My issues with tension are way more obvious here but I'm going to treat it as a learning piece. Otherwise I'll probably scream

What I've started since finishing it are two things.
A crochet shawl for myself out of Noro kakigori (nice yarn but kind of a pain) and another woven scarf for myself, fiddling with wool and simple color gamps. The wool scarf will be... Interesting, I'm sure.

Finished my last project and washed it a few days ago. Was very fun and a great learning opportunity.

I haven't been drawing as much lately, but I have been playing with various fiber arts.
