Erm, kinda? The tea party was a heavily astroturfed organization. It got a lot of press and traction early on, but it started with a lot of hype from libertarian money.

Bet half of it will go to outfits like Palantir and other scary AF tech firms. Yeah this shit has got to go.
February 5, 2026 at 1:03 PM
Now this is true. Unfortunately, ALL political parties work like this.
February 5, 2026 at 12:58 PM
Wow, the woman learned nothing.
February 5, 2026 at 12:57 PM
All that you get when money is equal to speech is a shitload of noise. Here we are.
February 5, 2026 at 12:54 PM
With even a narrow majority. It’s way past time we show them how the tables can turn. When we are in the majority I’m hoping we pull the plug on the imperial presidency entirely. But here we are. 2/2
February 5, 2026 at 12:47 PM
Yeah, little steps just don’t cut it, but it’s what we get for now. Come 2026 I really want to see some action. I want hearings I want shutdowns too. I want ICE gone. But this is what we get with minority government. And perhaps we should. Because the gop is proving what you can do 1/2
February 5, 2026 at 12:46 PM
Leverage is fifty democrats in the senate.
February 4, 2026 at 11:05 PM
Perils of having an opinion.
February 4, 2026 at 3:50 PM
Best way to get there is primaries. Best place to do that is actually blue states, not red states. NY keeps sending people like Schumer to the senate, so it’s primaries that can change that. That’s where our efforts need to be placed.
February 4, 2026 at 3:48 PM
I get it and I feel the ratio here. Look, I’m not a Schumer fan myself, but we’re not getting rid of him unless we change the entire structure of the senate, and that’s not happening for a while. But I’m also tired of the, “Democrats suck”, thing as well.
February 4, 2026 at 3:46 PM
Maybe so, but it’s still about what is possible. Democrats in position to push legislation need to negotiate something and these are reasonable starting points. Yeah, ICE has got to go but those are words for a campaign not legislating. Campaign on it so as a majority we can make it happen.
February 3, 2026 at 11:53 PM
Yeah, because telemedicine and automated operators are sooooo popular. Ever try to call customer service and wait for an hour to get a human being in the phone? Yeah, it’s gonna be like that.
February 3, 2026 at 2:40 AM
He won’t be able to hold his coalition together if her tries. He’s losing everybody but his most dedicated followers. But yeah, get ready for teh crazy.
February 3, 2026 at 2:38 AM
All of this plus a brief look at your feed makes you a case in point. But I’m done talking to another wolf in sheep’s clothing. You’re a dedicated troll, intentionally stirring up shit. Sooooo, fuck you very much and bye.
February 3, 2026 at 2:35 AM
To a point, but then clearly those fear tactics are pussing a lot of people off too. Minneapolis hasn’t stopped protesting. And the deportation agenda polls just above getting the clap. But only just barely.
February 3, 2026 at 12:44 AM
But the GOP doesn’t let things like due process get in the way of a loud and racist demonstration of cruelty instead. That’s what Trump promised and that’s what we got. So thank you for saddling us with this bullshit. Now fuck off.
February 3, 2026 at 12:42 AM
Sooooo, aside from outing yourself. Let’s take a look at the record. O had tons of deportations, I’ll give you that. But he didn’t have an armed militia drag people into unmarked vehicles. What he wanted from the GOP was courts to determine who should stay and who should go. 1/2
February 3, 2026 at 12:40 AM
Just clueless. As if we all love working with voice activated telephone assistants.
February 3, 2026 at 12:36 AM
Exactly. You can’t escalate, not right now. We are I. Better position than anyone realizes.
January 31, 2026 at 6:39 PM
Shooting ICE is only going to push this administration into even more extreme behavior. It gives them a justification for their escalation. Non violence works. It looks like they’re winning until they don’t and their coalition is breaking. It sucks but we all knew it would suck until it improves.
January 31, 2026 at 6:34 PM
Came here to say the same thing.
January 31, 2026 at 2:00 AM
Agreed.
January 27, 2026 at 9:10 PM
Nah, by that time I’m sure the order went out to stand down. That’s not aggression in his voice, it’s fear.
January 27, 2026 at 6:41 PM
The most embarrassing part was when he opened his mouth to the press. If there’s one thing he got told off about in the office it was talking to the press.
