#tvqotd For Dirge the Sussur Flower triggers a noticeable depression, at first the world loses colour and depth, the closer he gets the deeper its encroach, what starts as pins & needles in his hands becomes a seizing surface tension as his heart contracts.

Astarion being more confident in himself meant that he was the first to let himself fall, while it took Dirge his third death to cease his intellectualizing denial, and allow love back into his heart.
