An adult is having sex with a middle schooler who isn’t old enough to legally consent. I’m really not sure why you are defending that. A middle schooler is a CHILD and the 18 year old is an ADULT. We aren’t talking about two 13 year olds.

I don’t disagree. I would love to see paid leave for new parents, better and affordable child care, generous PTO policies, and healthcare for everyone. We don’t make it easy to be working parents ( and let’s face it, more of it falls on Moms) in this country.

I attended many of those while my kids were growing up. I missed some too. Trade offs.

I’m not sure what federal taxes have to do with people wanting to do the bare minimum when others who want to get ahead will do more. Forefathers worked far more than 40 hours in most cases and believed in hard work as a means to get ahead actually.

Not lazy but probably not going to get you promoted or significant raises.

Until they want to buy a home and have children and then they will complain that they can’t afford it.
