I agree.(Iirc) Roger Penrose hates AI, he clearly has zero faith in it ever achieving anything that actually passes as self aware. Making it to mimic what it has seen others do is only ever going to get it to a level similar to a toddler. And as cute as they are no one ever listens to a 2 year old🤔

That’s fair. My expectation is based solely on the anti biotic research. But if memory serves there was quite a bit of “can”, and “could be” involved, so this may be premature. But my presumption is optimistic on this and other fields. In my eyes it is a learning tool and should be used this way,..

Writers need to write good stories.Studios need to let the stories be told.I’m not saying there is no place for Star Wars tropes, but to use them and then wonder why it isn’t as good because ‘Jedi’, is naive of the studios. Andor gives hope they will be able to give us good, deep & complex stories.

You looking at it from an idealist perspective. Of course they could be better. But the last several products released haven’t have they.
It is a matter of opinion, but using Jedi and sith to sell the story is quite lazy and doesn’t balance the overall product.

In The Expanse s05e01 we see a lander flying over a large structure called ‘Lovell City’.
If we ever build on the moon I’d say we should name new builds after the space fairing brave people who first reached out that far.
Just like Lovell city.

They have landed this one and I suspect a big sigh of relief is coming the way of a few marvel movie makers.

The ‘Multi-Confusionverse’ 🤲 needed a grounding. And this movie does it. IMO marvel spent too much time pushing a concept no one really cared about. Now, there is at least one other Earth that we DO care about. It’s what they should have been doing instead of putting third eyes in Benedict’s fod.

It’s a great movie. At last we have a new marvel film that is worth your time. We have a new base from which to experience the mcu now. If you like mcu when it was great then you will love this 🦾👍
