My Gamegear was a PROBLEM lol. In the end I got tired of spending the only money I had on packets of batteries and got an official power pack instead. Which I then discovered I could use to power other things like my walkman XD;;

Yeah! The magnifying glass made it really distorted haha. I had some knockoff cheap brand that only lasted a few months because the connector ripped in half.

Still though, I remember being 8 or 9 and sitting playing Mario Land in the dark thinking THIS IS THE FUTURE. HOW GLOWY.
And then the batteries dying quicker because the light used the same batteries lol.

*Also having your batteries run out on the end boss and having to start from scratch because there was no save points. That was fun.
