I would think that it would be grounds for impeachment and removal if a POTUS issued a pardon to a convicted felon and the POTUS says he knows nothing about it. Is he corrupt, senile, or both?

Somehow, since Thomas Jefferson first moved into The White House in 1801, the US government functioned quite well without a ginormous presidential ballroom. Why is this now more important than opening the government so people can work and be paid?
