absolutely love all of these and all the kinds of interactions i want to enable!

im imagining a very internet-native form of “stooping” emerge.. leaving out assets and little games for visitors to take and leave on other websites

early new feature in playhtml enabling shared elements across pages and domains!

really excited for what kinds of interesting collective interactions this allows for and how it connects people across websites

no im interested in having multiple data writers outside of the PDS owner

so for example i have a checkbox on my website where the state is persisted to my PDS. i want everyone to be able to toggle that on/off

just exploring whether website state in PDS makes sense

A region HTML element will reparent shapes when they sufficiently overlap it.

A region HTML element with the sync attribute create shared portals in a canvas.

```html
<folk-region folk-sync folk-shape="x: 100; y: 100; width: 200; height: 150;">
```

has anyone tried storing website state in at proto (perhaps directly to the website owner's PDS?)

how exactly would this work to allow other visitors to the site to "write" to my PDS in a secure way? some proxy server that translates well-formatted API into authenticated PDS writes?

one of my favorite parts of my website is scrolling down to the very bottom and seeing all the people on it at that moment

(color matches each cursor color, which are shared / visible to everyone)
a box that says the number of people with a color for each, time spent on the page, and an energy percentage bar

In June I gave a talk about my search for perpetual energy, why I call myself both an artist and an engineer, how combining useless technology and useful art led me to interesting propositions and even more interesting questions.

if interested give it a watch here!
