That’s not courageous, that’s doing the bare minimum. She could have also stopped voting with the republicans and switched parties.

If the democrats didn’t want trump back in the White House they should have done something about it.

Sure, technically correct, but no one of consequence ran against Biden and then we ended up with a candidate that no one voted for. If you feel like that’s how you want to be represented I don’t know what to tell you.
January 22, 2026 at 2:54 AM
It does, but you do you.
January 22, 2026 at 2:29 AM
You're saying this like I'm the Democratic party that was in power for two years, didn't have a democratic Democratic primary, failed to act to save the country, and backed off on messaging that worked in favor of playing nice with Liz Cheney.
January 21, 2026 at 11:33 PM
What did they do? How did they save democracy? They had four years. I'm sure it was effective.

And no, Liz Cheney didn't do more. She voted the party line 93% of the time. That's a higher percentage than Stefanik.
January 21, 2026 at 10:54 PM
Sure, they were correct, but they were also in a position to do something about it before the election. They had four years. All they had to say about it was that we didn't vote hard enough in 2020 and btw I'm now best buds with Liz Cheney. Voters took it just as seriously as they did. (not at all)
January 21, 2026 at 9:43 PM
It's very much correct. Their whole campaign focused on telling us democracy and the future of the country was at stake so they, the people in a position to do something about it, who didn't do anything about it, were the only choice to get someone in place to do something about it.
January 21, 2026 at 8:06 PM
Dems wanted Trump as an issue they could campaign on. They didn't want to actually solve the problem.

but it would definitely matter to a license that attempts to restrict what can be done with the code, such as GPL.

If the code is copyright free it doesn't matter what the license is; no ownership means no control.
January 21, 2026 at 4:48 AM
If it's vibe coded there's no copyright. No copyright to be automatically assigned to the company as a work for hire. No copyright that can be assigned to a codebase or foundation. Might not matter much with a permissive license like Apache or MIT,
January 21, 2026 at 4:48 AM
Maybe? I think it's just a question of time.

Another thing to think about is that vibe code submissions cannot be submitted to most open source projects. A condition of submission is a transfer of the copyright ownership to the codebase.
January 21, 2026 at 4:48 AM
Nobody talks enough about the fact that the output from vibe coding has no copyright. No one owns it. If an employee walks out of the building with your vibe coded source code is there any recourse? Something that's not owned can't be stolen.

Tim Walz out here showing us why he’s not currently the VP. People expect their leaders to lead. If it’s on us to do it why do we need them? Vote harder next time for what exactly?
January 21, 2026 at 2:20 AM
“Someone should do something about this!” says man in a unique position to do something about this.
January 21, 2026 at 2:10 AM
Why are there morel mushrooms?
January 20, 2026 at 2:20 AM
And that's fine. Denmark is great. They just can't afford us and we don't need them to take care of us.

We don't need anyone treating us like a vassal state.
January 19, 2026 at 7:56 AM
We’re the fourth largest economy in the world. Denmark is 37th.
January 17, 2026 at 6:26 PM
California’s GDP is $4 trillion. Canada is at $2.2 trillion.
January 17, 2026 at 6:21 PM
You all seem to not understand the size of California.

Denmark’s GDP is $400 billion with 6 million people. California is $4 trillion with 40 million people.

They can’t afford us. We’re fine. We don’t need anyone.
January 17, 2026 at 6:17 PM
Is this why she didn't vote with the Democrats and worked to block Biden's agenda?
January 15, 2026 at 10:47 PM
Not true in California.
January 15, 2026 at 9:51 AM
Naw, NorCal would be “driving down 101” since e don’t the the “the” thing in front of the highways, and the dog would be described as hella rad.
