The way the levels are built for singleplayer and the bosses are built for multiplayer, as well as the OST flip-flopping between styles...
Feels like two totally different directions in one game

Jumping from S2 to SA2 is one thing, but I find it easy to imagine Sonic 3&K as being the same world as Adventure 1 (DC ver).
The colors and level of detail on the sprites/models, the balance of realism and surrealism in the environments...

uchikoshi lives for this stuff
too bad it was probably a bad financial decision to sell two games (for the PRICE of 2 games) but promote it as one game
hence why they're now spoiling the twist

which they are now spoiling for marketing reasons
in retrospect, it may have not been the smartest move to promote the game as having LESS content than it really does

"okay guys your twist is cool and all but it's probably not smart to promote the game as having LESS content than it actually does!"
something like that

it IS 2 games
but that's a spoiler, lol
they really give you a whole 30 hour storyline and climax, leave off on a cliffhanger, then go "SURPRISE, the sequel is RIGHT HERE"
it's the sort of twist that only devs this crazy would actually commit the time (and BUDGET) to

...Now, all of that being said, I STILL don't get all the fuss regarding movie Sonic, because the movies are a different continuity as well!

Ace Attorney is an exaggerated *parody* of the Japanese legal system. It's not actually the case that you can get away with all the shit these characters get away with in a real Japanese court of law, lmao

okay, sure, I guess if you WANT to stay uninformed and overgeneralizing, and keep jumping at every headline designed to upset you, then you can do so in peace
geez...

They're talking about the same machine learning automation features that have been built into animation tools for years.
"AI" is a buzzword that means a million things and this headline obviously wants people to assume the worst

6 is my favorite because I think it has fair minigames and a strategic item system, but it could be the case that adding more agency makes the game harder for casual players to win... randomness is the great equalizer

You could even install Windows on it if you *really* wanted to.
So why would the Steam Machine have anything short of full mod support?
(Or are you talking about hardware mods?)

with a project like this I'm curious where it'll fall between "the same game, updated" and "a whole new game entirely"
