"Characters are depicted as 18+" still looks the same, and don't look like adults.

Why do people draw minors with adult proportions when there are fully grown adults that already exist?

I asked this question before here, and the only answer I got was "Because the artist wanted to display a "What if that minor was an adult in this situation" and I dislike that answer.
