I’m a father who produces his son’s podcast. It’s called “Alden’s Amazing Roblox Review”. I also know how to bake scones from scratch.

Bonus profile feature: Message me “dog star amazing scones” for a free Dad joke.
Y’all are sleeping on Kimi AI.

In the end, #AI is turning out to be just fancy auto-complete.

The rich are protected by the law but aren’t bound by it. The poor are bound by the law but aren’t protected by it.

Getting charged $65 a month for LinkedIn Premium is beyond insane.

I think the only viable way to run as an independent for a state house seat is to:

1. Don’t take corporate money or big private donations
2. Disclose all income and expenses for the campaign.
3. Donate leftover funds to a local charity after everyone in the staff gets paid.

I wonder if cruise companies are lining up at Jared’s door to get first dibs at that beach front property in Gaza.

Everyone who’s in the stock market should be putting at least 20% of their portfolio into TZA or some sort of short-related index.

Forget the NVDA collapse today. Trump and the Republicans are going to crater the market this year.

What’s the easiest way to get the Bluesky app to figure out what I like in my feed?

It would probably be a better idea to call new users something other than TikTok refugees on Rednote.

I get the sentiment and the easy tag, but do I call them something in return?

TikTok finally went dark for me.

At this point, the only way the NFL is going to allow Patrick Mahomes to get tackled by an opposing team without a penalty is to bear hug him till the whistle blows.

Why in the hell does Elon Musk have his own office in the White House?

I feel like I’m the only person in the world who’s still custom coding scripts in Ninjatrader with the occasional help of AI.

I really wish I could find like minded people somewhere.

I think Meta is fishing for the right number to purchase the TikTok algorithm. It wants it badly.

This endemic of people narcissistically thinking they are right to be awful to other people is becoming tiresome.

Living in the wreckage of the future sure does take the joy out of the present.

Basically, 85% of what you’re worried about will never happen.

Don’t waste time on it.

This is the kind of salad designs my mother in law likes to make. I have dozens of these designs on my phone.

If you want to know if that #organic #apple is old or not, hold it to your ear and give it a firm shake.

If you hear the #seeds rattling on the inside, it’s old and you shouldn’t #buy it.

Oh, and rub your thumb against the skin of the apple. If it’s not smooth, it’s very old.

Am I the only one who starts reading a 300+ page non-fiction book from the end?

I check references and sources, get to the crux/core message of the book, and then read the book but turn the left page to dive in on something new but contextually relevant.

It’s more engaging.

Remember, there are people out there that are going to have a pretty bad day to start the week.

If you’re doing OK, and can help them in some small way, you should probably try.

I started reading to my son when he was two years old. He eventually started reading on his own when he was five.

I would recommend to anyone who would listen to do the same with their children. Show them how to read and read with them. It makes a *huge* difference.

#read

There must be some unwritten rule that dogs must move to the window that’s not rolled down when riding in the backseat.

When they finally achieve their goal of having both rear windows down, they lay down on the seat and stare out the window… happily.

Dogs are weird.
