Last year, “Any%” and “No Skips” categories were the focus, and 3 new world records were set. This year, any category or category extension could be ran for the event, leading to 17 new world records being set across six categories and seven different platforms.

This past weekend, the Spider-Man (2000) speedrun community put on their 2nd annual “Web the Record" event, a 3-day event where the community comes together live on Twitch for 6 hours a day to set new world records in the game.
