What does BMR mean and how do you calculate it for individual goals.

1. BMR stands for basal metabolic rate.

2. Your BMR is the number of calories (energy) you burn throughout the day.

3. You may calculate your BMR using the Harris Benedict Equation which is listed in this thread.

5 oz 95/5 ground beef
5 oz Yukon Gold potatoe
4 oz 2% yogurt
6 oz orange

Macros:

Protein- 58 grams
Carbs- 42 grams
Fats- 17 grams

Calories: 552

High protein breakfast:

2 whole eggs
100ml egg whites
40 grams of oats
1 scoop of whey protein

Macros:
Protein - 52 grams
Carbs - 30 grams
Fats - 12 grams

Calories: 436

This is an extremely simple and effective breakfast to stay satiated throughout the day.

Tip of the day:

When grocery shopping. Even though there are plenty of viable options when shopping in the grocery store a key tip that has helped me has always been sticking towards the outside aisles of the grocery store.

Example : Vegetable, Fruits, Meat, Dairy
