I agree, I have an original mega drive and games in the attic as it is hard to get working and the pads are a bit dodgy, so I use a MD mini or retroarch to play as it's far more convenient. I do however, prefer to play on original type controllers (eg 8bitdo M30) and don't enjoy using an Xbox one

Well it came out at a time when I went off to college. I had mainly played Mega Drive games before that and some Amiga games on my brothers old one. I did manage to get an old pc for essays (well worms tournaments with my housemates), but I just never encountered the game.

I have still never played Quake, but I have recently bought it on steam..
