Not even just lore readers actually. I think Simulanka was clear that Durin and Mini Durin's circumstances were the same
I guess I found it jarring how they seemed to expect those feelings of sympathy to only go to Mini Durin and not Big Durin. Or maybe they didn't expect them to take root at all

Not even just lore readers actually. I think Simulanka was clear that Durin and Mini Durin's circumstances were the same

Like, imagine instead of the Evil Dragon becoming Mini Durin, they just had to end him. Wouldn't they have been sad for him then?

The Traveler learned about Dragonspine Durin in Simulanka! Albedo also stated there that he knows about Durin's past.

That's true but Albedo and the Traveler are fully aware of Durin's circumstances.
I really think there should have been a moment where they sympathise with his tragic existence. It would have fit perfectly during the time Albedo was removing the heart core. Just to give him a respectful end.

It seems like it might be a collection of islands? Since the Frostmoon Scions gather on a separate island. Or it's possible that it's part of the mainland but has some islands associated with it, since it's supposed to be the southernmost part of Snezhnaya.
