10 days ago, I found out I had to be out a month for a medical procedure. I was promptly dismissed. So was an employee suffering from psoriatic arthritis.

At this point I would be happy if she won the lottery or found some other happiness besides what she has taken from me.I wish her blessings -- somewhere out of our lives. I need a desperate miracle 🙏🏻 Thank you.

I admit that this year so far I read the fewest number of books in my adult life (I had a lot going on) and I feel guilty about it. Isn't that a silly thing? I blame the Goodreads challenge. 🤣 You just made me feel better. ☺️

Right! At my age (52) I'm actually over the idea that I have to get anything deep out of my reading besides entertainment anyway. I DO read some "garbage" that is quite entertaining. If you read often, you're going to read a lot of books - that's just math. I think you "get something" either way.

It was fantastic. Adult choir was back in session. Our priest blessed teachers and the kids going back to school by blessing their backpacks. It was lovely to see a nice crowd.
