I think the term is “brandishing” his weapon.

I’m not sure on plot, but they do make a cute couple!

The brooks brothers riot was a rehearsal for the January 6 repeat. Especially after there were no criminal charges the first time. (And the second time they all for pardons!)

It won’t go that way. GOP will blame this all on democrats regardless.

They’re better off being seen publicly fighting what Trump and Musk are doing, than being seen doing nothing at all while it happens.
March 13, 2025 at 8:59 PM
They only attack other democrats, because they won’t fight back. 😉

But that’s even assuming active sabotage. Before that level is just the reality that, without the current human staff who operate it, the canal is going to operate at a massively reduced capacity for years, until some new staff learns how.

The whole idea is just stupid.

Even aside from something as dramatic as them bombing the canal, the only people who actually know how to operate it (efficiently) work for the Panama Canal authority and there’s a million ways they could shut down operations.

Best case, Trump might control a canal with 1/3 of its current capacity.

It’s a trump administration. Better stockpile TP.
March 13, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Especially while the US public is against the whole thing.
March 13, 2025 at 3:13 PM
I saw that happen to my cousin. It was sad.
March 12, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Show up? I’ve only had them send me to their website to do that myself.
March 12, 2025 at 3:21 PM
Twitter pushing out ransomware to hundreds of millions of computers would be pretty funny…

(For those of us who haven’t used the site in years anyway)

If Elon is surprised by any of this then he’s embarrassingly naive.
March 10, 2025 at 4:47 PM
This image is what everyone should think of whenever you call the police after a breakin and they just give you their web site to report it yourself.

I think they were involved in lawsuits against a Neo Nazi compound in northern Idaho that led to the place being sold and shut down, back in the 90’s. So they did something good 30 years ago.

Also: shop at Costco because liquor is about half the price of anywhere else, at least in my state.
March 8, 2025 at 10:16 PM
Did they intend for it to be as sarcastic as it feels to me, right now?
March 8, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Admittedly, that upper picture would make a pretty good wrap for a CT, if anyone owns a CT and has any sense of humor.

Less difficult than magnets, is to put a paper message under the windshield wiper.

I’m inclined to be charitable about that ONLY IF the lawyers were completely forthright with the court.

Telling the court, “my superiors refuse to answer that question,” is fine. Playing some kind of game in an attempt to mislead the court is not.
March 7, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Seems like there’s some government lawyers who need a perjury charge.
March 7, 2025 at 5:33 PM
I’m sure the stock market loves this process of continuous uncertainty. You can tell by how it’s still rising at >8% like it was under Biden.

Right?
March 7, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Responding to the last item, “We are helping them understand why their strategy is a bad idea.”

Can you explain it to me, too? I’d like to know why unconditional surrender is such a great idea.
March 6, 2025 at 10:55 PM
As someone in Washington State, I wish Washington could join Canada. 😉
March 6, 2025 at 10:24 PM
Just keep in mind that this man, who believes wherever he’s told, is negotiating on behalf of the US with actual leaders who have a lot to gain by screwing us. And there’s nobody to correct or stop him.
