I am yet to be convinced that LLM generated content has any legitimate use outside of highly specific professional cases. And in the case of generated images and videos, I don’t think those are legitimate even there.

What’s especially gonna suck in the next 4 years is seeing all the right wing anti liberal sentiment worldwide getting legitimised again through Trump. Hopefully the EU is preparing a good line of defence.

Plastic recycling isn’t really a thing. In most cases it just isn’t possible, and when it is, it’s an extra expense of energy, resources and pollutants, to the point that just making new plastic is a cleaner process. Why push for more recycling when the solution is to just stop using plastic?
