The Libby app for libraries also has digital magazines and may have them as well.

Your library system may have a similar set up for users to print from wireless devices or from home. You would still need to go in to print and all but still.

I've seen some stuff from some at our state library and from leadership at my hometown library in deep red area of GA but nothing from the suburban area I work out now

Also please note that the physical books are not up to the quality they used to be. The amount of new books we've had to repair within weeks and months of getting them to keep up with the demand is way up from even a few years ago. They age and yellow rapidly too.

So far I've managed to avoid the issue because there s a metric ton of more pressing things to do but it will come up again and I need to better document why it isn't workable to at least try to push back in some way that isn't seen as insubordination. We will see if it works

I keep getting asked to implement AI to help with shelf reading which I have yet to do and is not going to help staff or volunteers learn to shelve, shift or shelf read well.
