Exactly, I grew up in the Bible Belt and was raised by staunch conservatives with the background noise of Rush Limbaugh and as soon as I could get out of that house, I, wanting to be educated on as many issues and subjects as possible, sought out truth even though I knew it would hurt. no excuses.

It seems Canada is offering up armored vehicles to ice, so I’m not sure, but they sure do love to question our ability to resist whilst funding and helping to terrorize us.

Did you have kids in school at the time? I supported closures but I watched so many great kids suffer over time. Even from happy homes. It’s not normal to be suddenly pulled from your friends. I don’t know the right answer but your take is not supported by data or any parent’s experience I know.

Anyway these kids now are robbed of actual snow days where they can play out in the snow all day - they are required to get up and work via computer all day. Life is much more difficult for this generation. - we’ve robbed them of all the things we cherished as kids. IMO

Same. They love it at first, but hated it toward the end and so many from very stable homes ended up in psychiatric care. It’s easy to look up. And to be honest, they did not come out of it without permanent issues. My oldest never had a prom or graduation and lost friends. That stuff matters.

Yes, some of them did. I have a an estranged family member that has been salivating for exactly this since 2018. In fact he wants more bloodshed on the streets. You have no idea how much maga workout bros want to have the freedom to kill liberals and leftists and immigrants.

That’s true of nearly all military marriages by default - and yet I would still call most of those marriages submissive. The wife runs the house and family and the husband makes all of the larger decisions about where and how they live, it’s very traditional, conservative, AND very patriarchal.

Honestly I don’t know - the emails when Epstein lists names repeatedly mention Kerry, I don’t know why - all of the others in that email are known abusers so it’s hard not to believe he might be one too now. It’s awful, my daughter met him and both me and my husband for him, now I have to reassess
